  Old fashioned Southern cooking. The menu changes daily with different meats and veggies for your classic meat and three plates, or grill items like burgers and French fries. The food is delicious and the prices are fantastic. If you're in the area try this place instead of those "home cooking" chains or questionable buffets.

  Had to call 3 times to get someone to answer the phone. When they finally did, no greetings just said hello? I had to ask if I had the right number. Went to pick up my food and she had written down the wrong order. Repeated my order and was charged for 5 vegetables. Drove home and found my food only had 4 items and 2 of those were incorrect. During that time the cashier couldn't get off social media long enough to keep everyone's tickets straight. Kept apologizing, but never set her phone down. Use to be a good place to grab a bite to eat, apparently it has went down hill. Last few times I've been in the service was sorely lacking.

  I've been going to Doug's Place for years. That should tell you something. It's a very good place for traditional southern food. Doug's staff makes you feel at home and since it's in and old house you do feel like your at home. There is typically a wait so plain for that. You will not be disappointed!

  They are sometimes good sometimes not good. I live doe. The street we use to eat here all the time but it seems like the food has gone down in quality. Sometimes the food can be really good so still go try it but don't really expect much
